I heard about Iowa Ortho and Select Physical Therapy from the best, my favorite and former Athletic Trainer, Allison Klapperich. Last year, during my college softball season, I was having knee and back pain while running and hitting. I reached out to Allison as I like to consider her my forever Athletic Trainer. She was able to get me an appointment right away with Dr. Meyer at Iowa Ortho. Per Dr. Meyer, I then went and completed therapy at the Select downtown Des Moines office. Iowa Ortho and Select were the best choice for me. At both Iowa Ortho and Select, they are very personable and connect well with their patients. What helped me the most was how they focused on high level rehabilitation for my sport, specifically exercises that were in relation to the movements I would be doing in my daily activities and in relation to my sport. I would highly recommend Iowa Ortho and Select. I am looking forward to getting back on the softball field for my senior season.
