Dr. Michael Gainer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders. He is originally from Belleville, Illinois, and has been practicing medicine since 2003.

Dr. Gainer was the Chief Resident at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine from 1999–2000. He holds a subspecialty certification in hand surgery and holds membership in several medical societies.

In his free time, Dr. Gainer enjoys golfing, watching Cardinals baseball and spending time with his family.
