The River Hill Surgery Center was fabulous….from the front desk staff to the nurses & support staff, everyone was very friendly & thorough. Jaki was our nurse after surgery & for discharge & she was exceptional…kind, professional & so great. Dr Matthes is such an incredible physician…calm, explains in details we can understand….& while I’m sure he’s extremely busy, he never makes you feel rushed. I also want to commend Dr Erickson with MCA. He was also very calming & thorough….explained everything very well. I was very happy with the xrays ladies. They were very kind. Dr. VINCENT was excellent in his explanation of the x-rays and what could be done for the knee pain, this would also be a way of eliminating source of pain. Highly recommend Dr. Vincent at Iowa Ortho for any injuries one may have whether it’s a sports or work injury. In 2016 he did a partial inside right knee for me, I have no more pain! I am back to using an elliptical machine, walking on elevated treadmill and riding a bike with No Pain. The scar is also barely visible. Dr. Vincent an Eric Dolash are outstanding medical professionals and make one feel like you are an old friend. Recently saw Dr. Vincent for a shoulder injury from weightlifting and he didnt disappoint! His patient care is superb and I highly recommend this skilled orthopedic surgeon.

My 12 year old daughter injered her foot at school and was in a decent amount of pain and Dr. Hale actually took the time to listen to what was bothering her and ran the appropriate tests to find a fracture. Angela has been fantastic with my 87 year old mother. Mom broke her arm In a fall. Angela doesn’t talk down to her while breaking the information down to vocabulary that a lay person would understand. She does not rush the visit and my mom feels completely “heard” and treated with dignity. We cannot recommend her more highly. Oh! And the rest of the Iowa Ortho staff are equally tremendous. Mom’s arm was broken, we spent the night in the ER, and Iowa Ortho found a way to squeeze her in the same day to have her arm evaluated. Just really excellent experience, every time we’ve been there.

Over the years I have had to go to Iowa Ortho for different health reasons and every time I am treated with respect and dignity. This last time I had to get my nerves tested in my arm and hand. Dr. Smith did my procedure. He was very good and I highly recommend him. If you get referred to a Dr at Iowa Ortho you are in very good hands.

Austin is always very attentive at our appointments. He makes sure I understand what is going on. Austin is a great compliment to Dr Rayburn. They are a wonderful team. They care about my pain and have really tried to find solutions for my pain that is NOT about opioids. I would recommend Austin and Dr Rayburn to anyone in the Des Moines/Pella area.

I never have dreaded going to my Ortho appts. Marc has always been great and seems to be a wonderful assistant to Dr. Mathes. He has always made me feel that he had all the time I needed of him, like I had known him forever. I could always ask or question anything I didn’t understand, and never was made to feel intimidated. I gave always felt very confident with the care of everyone at Iowa Ortho!

Upon my first visit the ladies at the front desk were friendly and ready to assist me immediately. After filing my paper work out within 5 min I was in an exam room and couple min later I was taken to get X-rays. After returning to the exam room less then 5 min Dr.Vincent was there to exam and ask a couple questions on my injury. He was very professional in the way he presented himself. Also answered any questions I had. My experience was very good and highly recommend him. I am very pleased to have met him and feel that I am in the best care for my situation!!

Iowa Ortho has helped many members of my family my sister who is deceased now, my son who has had knee surgery, my grandson who has had knee surgery and myself who has had rotator cuff issues in the past. I would recommend Iowa Ortho to anyone with Orthopedic needs. Dr. Vincent is my doctor now and Sherrie is the greatest. She went beyond and above her duties to help me get necessary information, my MRI images and dealt with the Veteran’s hospitals, not one but two. Sherrie was very patient very diligent and successful. I give her her props. I can’t wait to get in there and get started with the treatment for my rotator cuff tear.

Dr. Vincent was very professional and competent. He took the time to explain the workings of the ankle and the reason the type of surgery was being recommended. He also explained the impact of the broken bones on other parts of the body, like the soft tissues and what recovery would entail. Dr. Vincent and his team were awesome they explain everything for me it made me feel comfortable. It was my first surgery ever at 52, I was definitely uncomfortable about it at first they got me come down and got me through it. I would definitely recommend him. Number one in my book.

Dr. Vincent was excellent. He explained what was causing my knee pain, showing me the x-rays and then carefully explained the steps to solve the problem. He was professional, efficient and made me feel confident in the treatment plan. While no one wants to be a patient, I have had several experiences with Iowa Ortho. Everyone who has helped me, from the receptionists to the nurses to the lab and x-ray technicians have been kind, patient and professional. I know that whatever problem I have, I know I will receive excellent care.
